Stef Hammitt, a Los Angeles and California native started Hammitt Los Angeles in 2003 while helping a college friend create a leather belt line. As she drove around to manufacturers and suppliers, her experience as a music video stylist started her design wheels spinning. How can I create a truly LA look in a world of fashion designed from New York, Millan and Paris? The result was Hammitt Los Angeles’s distinct clean, modern but relaxed style. The kind of bag that you can take anywhere. From the Beaches to the City, Hollywood Blvd to Sunset Plaza, casual lunch or a meeting at the Ivy, Hammitt Los Angeles takes you there in Style.

Today, Stef lives and thrives in Manhattan Beach, California. When she’s not dreaming of new designs, she can be found doing just about anything outdoors, from hiking and biking to playing beach volleyball.
