It appears to be stamped to imitate the legacy brushed pewter leather that I adore so much and the texture is different. Just FYI to buyers in case you're expecting the typical brushed texture. I've been staring at Kyle
"I've been staring at Kyle for a long time. While I don't know why it took me so long to buy one, I had to have it in the East End/Antique Gold color. I've been looking for purse that had a great balance with black and brown leather. Now, I'm not a fan of one side of the shoulder strap not being detachable. I don't know what the design choice was there, but I'm giving it a try, as I've never had to tuck a strap inside my purse if I wanted to change into a longer strap."
