Classic at heart but full of modern attitude, this bag features a bold handle drop and sleek corner patches that elevate its timeless shape. Outside, two D-rings are ready for your favorite charms or an extra strap (sold separately). Inside, smart storage includes two flat pockets and a dedicated card slot to keep your essentials in check. And, thanks to the structured gussets and all-around zip, the wide opening makes grabbing what you need feel effortless.

Care Instructions

The suede is deliciously soft - and we're here to help you keep it that way! We handpick suede that is generally water resistant. We do recommend keeping this bag away from dirt and oils - storing in its dust bag is a must! Take special caution after applying lotion, sunscreen or other skincare. We recommend washing your hands before carrying your bag!

If your bag gets extremely wet, we strongly suggest drying it away from a heater, very slowly. Please air dry the bag and do not use heat. Once dry, brush your suede to lift fibers again. This will bring its soft hand feel back to life!

"I love this bag! When it was first released and I saw it on the website I was a little half-hearted about it. Then I went on vacation and saw it in real life in a boutique and thought it was gorgeous- the website photo's don't do it justice! I immediately came home and ordered it the same night. Can't wait to use it. It will be a beautiful spring and summer accent piece. "I love my Meredith, I had a really difficult time choosing a color way but eventually decided on classic black and gold so I could dress it up with charms or a scarf (as I knew the handles and brass rings would be perfect for that). I LOVE the Meredith Small.

"I LOVE the Meredith Small. It is the perfect “medium” sized bag. It accommodates all your necessities and then some. All contents are easily accessible in the well-designed bag. There is no digging down into the bottom of a large bag to find what you are looking for. The two-zipper system opens the bag wide so all contents are visible and it holds a lot. The combination of chocolate pebbled leather and gorgeous golden brown suede is stunning. The long rolled handles are well constructed, stand up and the bag can easily be carried on the shoulder. The bag is small enough to fit on a dining table or counter, so always visible for the many compliments you will receive. I like the two extra hooks on the outside of the bag to add accessories, like the Hammitt boot. I do wish there was an optional long 52” crossbody strap available for purchase to make the Meredith totally “hands free” because that is what Hammitt functionally is all about. I do hope Hammitt is not getting away from crossbody bags and going to “shoulder only. That would be a mistake and sad too. I love this “big” small bag. The design is beautiful and functional (minus crossbody strap) and will become a favorite for many."
