"I bought the HAMMITT Charles Crossbody in black and red for a trip to Europe, and it was absolutely the perfect travel bag. The passport pocket is such a smart feature, and everything I needed fit easily in the front without feeling too bulky. I especially loved being able to wear it securely across my chest while walking around Munich and other busy areas without constantly worrying about pickpocketing. It gave me so much peace of mind while still looking stylish. The leather is incredibly buttery soft, and the quality is exactly what I’ve come to expect from HAMMITT. This is my third HAMMITT bag, and it definitely won’t be my last."

"I promised myself that I was not going to buy another Hammitt. Not because I had experienced any kind of disappointment with their products, but because I believe that I am the one person who, in all probability, has more Hammitts than even Hammitt! Casually browsing the website, I came across this beautiful rendition of the Charles bag. I could feel my resolve dissipating. Down that rabbit hole I was heading. After about 10 minutes of serious contemplation, I realized that I simply had to have it for myself. It is truly regal. The light blue and the gold brushed rivets really pop against the wine colored background. The texture and softness of the bag is unmatched. Buttah I tell ya, buttah!! This bag is definitely large and in charge. There is sufficient room for everything that I need in my day. I have not purchased any other brand since my discovery of Hammitt, which has been some years ago. Of course, one potato chip always leads to another! I am now about to order the matching wallet. Great job Hammitt; simply beautiful!!"

I like this bag a

"I like this bag a lot but am not a fan of the strap. The way it’s attached on one side of the bag, doesn’t allow it to be interchangeable with another strap. The strap should be leather (which it isn’t) and I’m considering cutting it off and adding a leather strap from one of my other Hammitt bags."

"I love love love this purse, I have a medium size but suddenly learned I needed to carry 2 epi pens with me and then it was too tight. This is beautiful and folds across my upper body like it was made I for it, and all my necessities can fit easily. I love the quality but do feel it is overpriced. Few people that I know could afford it."

LARGE CHARLES CROSSBODY

"Love it! Purchased for a trip to Morocco (if you turn it inwards, all zippers face you, so no pickpockets can swipe your things). Was able to fit pens, sunglasses, reading glasses (no cases), small wallet, lipstick + chapstick, small hairbrush, aspirin, keys etc in the large Charles. Just saw me thru shoulder surgery (cross body, no weight on my shoulder). I should buy a "real" purse again, but can't find one I like as much as this for everyday use"

This is exactly the bag

"This is exactly the bag I’ve been hunting for. I will be using this bag for a 2 week trip to Europe. I wanted something that would look good, but also be able to hold my passport, phone, phone charger and all the stuff I’d be needing for a day of touring. There are smart zipper pockets on the outside and inside of the bag and it looks summery and well made. Can’t wait to use it!"
